"i4Siri" Legal Siri port on iPhone 4 imminent [Video]

When all talking about that Siri can be legal on iPhone 4 or not, the great hacker MuscleNerd posted from few days ago that the new version iOS 5.1 Firmware released by Apple to the iPhone 4S Makes makes siri port legal to iPhone4, today we have some amazing news to proof that. According to JailbreakNation that some developers are working to makes Siri legal on iPhone 4 by new method known as “i4Siri”.

i4Siri project’s Team are trying to makes Siri on the old devices running iOS 5 include iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G, other devices will be later and iPhone3GS not confirmed yet.

@MrAjsTech with @leftyfl1p could be able to legally port Siri on iPhone 4 and they showed off a video teaser as below before the release:

Last night I spent quite come time working on a script that will auto generate the necessary Siri certificates. This will allow for easy 4S key grabbing. This script should be released soon. The next step is to release a tool that will help users install a GUI and then we will release our auth keys cydia tweak.

We hope see this real soon also with iOS5 untethered jailbreak, stay tuned with us for more info.

An iPhone Case That Poops Flash Drives

The second addition to ego&company's Hybrid Series line of iPhone cases is the aptly named USB. Because besides providing a protective plastic outer shell, the case also stores a thin flash drive in its—umm—posterior.
Pricing and availability have yet to be announced, but the USB case will come in your choice of five different colors that can be mix and matched with the accompanying flash drives. Which themselves come in five different varieties, ranging in capacity from 2GB to 32GB. Probably dependent on how much data it consumed the night before.

Hacker i0n1c will do an iOS 4.3.5 UntetheredJailbreak

For reasons that we cannot begin to imagine, known hacker and security guru Stefan Esser (i0n1chas tweeted that he will do an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.5. Yeah, not iOS 5, but iOS 4.3.5. We don’t get it, either.
Dedicated jailbreakers that haven’t wanted to ditch their untethered jailbreaks are likely still on iOS 4.3.3 (it was the last firmware that was accompanied with an untether, ala JailbreakMe). Then there’s the possibility of a few users who truly hate iOS 5 and haven’t updated for that reason. Whatever the intention, i0n1c seems to think that we need an untether for 4.3.5.
The majority of my followers sees no need in an iOS 4.3.5 untether. I guess that leaves me no option: I will do an iOS 4.3.5 untether

Whether he actually delivers or not remains to be seen, as he is known for pushing the envelope on Twitter. Stefan apparently polled his 70,000+ Twitter followers on if he should do a 4.3.5 untether, and the vote was a resounding no. His course of action was to then announce that he was doing the jailbreak anyway.
We have a feeling that Stefan was being a little sarcastic, so don’t expect a 4.3.5 untether anytime soon. We’re all waiting for pod2g to finish the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak!

pod2g Enlists Chronic Dev Team’s Help to Expedite Untethered Jailbreaks

pod2g has handed over the keys to his iOS 5 untethered jailbreak for A4 devices (which includes the iPhone 4) to the Chronic Dev Team. In doing so, he hopes to focus primarily on the A5 jailbreak, which covers the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
Since the untethered jailbreak for pre-A5 chip devices is basically finished, this will allow pod2g to get the iPhone 4S jailbreak back up to speed. This is very good news for owners of both A4 and A5 devices, because that means that both are being heavily worked on simultaneously…
Here is the latest from pod2g:

I read the comments on the blog, and I know that a lot of people are waiting for the A5 jailbreak.

Also, I know there are tons of people out there with A4 or even earlier devices who wants the untether now and don't care about it could be interesting to wait A5 is finished to release or even 5.1, so that we don't waste an exploit that took me months to find and develop.

I need to focus on A5 and hope I can find a path quick, and I have the feeling that chronic-dev could help me.

So, here is what I did:
- I gave all the details to the chronic dev team so that they can finish, test, integrate and release the A4 jb ASAP.
- I'll put all my energy from now on on the A5

Hope I don't disappoint.

See you.

This is very good news for both iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 owners. With this refocused game plan, there is sure to be a wiser use of resources to get both completed as quickly as possible.

Which one are you looking forward to most? An iPhone 4 (iOS 5.x) or an iPhone 4S untethered jailbreak? Stay Tuned folks,iOS 5 untethered jailbreak is coming around the corner.
